Verified system requirements

A clear Windows baseline before you install.

These requirements describe the supported public Windows workflow without guessing at unverified hardware minimums or promising that every codec inside a listed container will decode.

02 / STORAGE

Storage depends on the workflow.

Keep enough free space for the installed application, local working copies, previews, revisions, temporary processing, and completed exports. Video workflows may require several times the source-file size while processing.

VIRAL⁴ does not publish an unverified fixed storage minimum because source size, duration, codec, revision history, and export choices materially change the requirement.

03 / INPUT

Source files and formats.

Each selected source file must be at most the application's 4 GiB local safety limit. Common video containers include MP4, MOV, M4V, WebM, MKV, AVI, MPG, MPEG, TS, MTS, and M2TS. Relevant workflows may also accept supported audio or still-image sources.

04 / EXPORT

Export requirements.

Completed video exports are written as MP4 files. The destination must be writable and have enough free space for the completed file. Keep the system drive available for any temporary processing even when the final export uses another drive.

05 / HARDWARE

No unsupported hardware claim.

VIRAL⁴ does not currently publish a minimum RAM, CPU model, or dedicated-GPU requirement. Performance depends on media resolution, duration, codec complexity, storage speed, available memory, and concurrent workloads.

For help with a specific configuration, use the Support page and include the Windows build, processor, memory, source format, approximate duration, and non-sensitive error text.

06 / UPDATE

Keep the trusted components current.

Install VIRAL⁴ through Microsoft Store, allow Store updates, keep Windows security updates current, and maintain the WebView2 Runtime. Do not replace application binaries with files from third-party mirrors.
